MTP Solutions

MTP Brand cassettes are the wave of the future and several datacenters are already implementing this technology. One MTP connector plugged into the back of the cassette and "fanout" to up to 24 connections (LC quad cassette only). MTP plug-and-play module cassettes are designed to fit into RAC and WAC series fiber optic patch panels.

MTP Cassettes
MTP (Mechanical Transfer Pull Off) technology is the up-and-coming standard for fiber optic networks. Similar to the MTRJ connector in its style, the MTP connector is actually capable of holding a much higher amount of fibers: Up to 72 fibers in some applications! Most applications do call for higher through-puts which standard fiber technology cannot handle. It is buckling under the pressure and MTP is here to help.

Rackmount Fiber Optic Patch Panels
Cables Plus

rackmount patch enclosures are designed for direct termination of up to 288 fibers. The RAC series accommodates up to 12 modular panels and is equipped with routing guides to limit bend radius and enhance strain-relief control.

Wall Mount Fiber Optic Patch Panels
Cables Plus

wall-mount patch enclosures are designed for direct termination of up to 96 fibers. The WAC series accommodates up to 8 modular panels and is equipped with routing guides to limit bend radius and enhance strain-relief control. Multilink wall mount patch panels are also available.
