Speaker wire can be terminated into the binding post by either stripping back the jacket and inserting the bare wire or you can use banana plugs or spade plugs, depending on your application. It may be easier to terminate using a plug and is recommended, but not always necessary. If the binding posts are easy to access, then you can insert the bare wire directly. Otherwise, terminate using one of the plugs.
