Product Description:
RapidNet ULTRA12 Tethered Cassettes are designed to facilitate transition from a single MTP connector into small form factor (SFF)or very small form factor (VSFF) connectivity patching array. Cassettes are factory terminated and tested offering best in class ultra low loss connectivity for rapid deployment of ULTRA12 fiber systems, supporting the increasing demand on
parallel optics. Tethered Cassettes offer lower insertion loss compared to typical cassette and backbone cable configurations.
The compact design allows for a ultra high density installations to be realized, maximizing critical connectivity real estate. RapidNet ULTRA12 Cassettes are designed to be compatible with future VSFF connectors such as CS and SN which will take the fiber capacity from 12 fibers (LC) to either 18 fibers (CS) or 24 fibers (SN). Tethered cables can be produced to your required length with single or double jacket constructions. Tethered cassettes are made with 3.0mm single jacket cables which contain Corning® SMF-28® fibers for Singlemode and ClearCurve® fibers for Multimode.
