Product Description:
RapidNet ULTRA8 Tethered Cassettes are designed to facilitate transition from a single MTP connector into small form factor (SFF)or very small form factor (VSFF) connectivity patching array.
Cassettes are factory terminated and tested offering best in class ultra-low loss connectivity for rapid deployment of ULTRA8 fiber systems, supporting the increasing demand on parallel optics. Tethered Cassettes offer lower insertion loss compared to typical cassette and backbone cable configurations.
The compact design allows for a ultra-high-density installations to be realized, maximizing critical connectivity real estate. RapidNet ULTRA8 Cassettes are designed to be compatible with future VSFF connectors such as CS and SN which will take the fiber capacity from 8 fibers (LC) to either 12 fibres (CS) or 16 fibers (SN). Tethered cables can be produced to your required length with single or double jacket constructions.
Tethered cassettes are made with 3.0mm single jacket cables which contain Corning® SMF-28® fibers for Singlemode and ClearCurve® fibers for Multimode.
