The LightWave MTP-LC, 10Gb Multimode OM3, 24-Strand Fiber Optic Cable is designed to help data centers and telecommunications rooms maximize connection density for working with limited space.
On one end, the cable has 2 MTP brand MPO-style connectors, with each connector holding 12 fibers. This fans out to 24 LC connectors in duplex configuration. This compact design increases density, saving you money by giving you more space.
With this cable, you can transfer data over a 50/125 micron glass fiber 1Gbps link a distance of up to 1000 meters at a wavelength of 850nm, or a distance of up to 550 meters at a wavelength of 1300nm. For a 10Gbps link, you can transfer data a distance of up to 300 meters at an 850nm wavelength.

The MTP brand connector is a superior option to generic MPO connectors due to its improvements on the style, which include a removable housing which, among other things, lets the customer scan the ferrule interferometrically after assembly. The MTP brand connector is also offered with four variations of boots that meet different applications, such as limited space or cable construction types.
